Job Responsibilities:
- As Environment Engineer, carry out internal audits to satisfy the standard requirements & identify any breakdown in system. Develop the report on Internal audit, present to management and formulate corrective action plan (CAP) & follow-up on the action items.
- As a Management representative plan and coordinate with external auditing agencies & facilitate them in conducting external surveillance/recertification audits. Prepare a corrective action plan (CAP) & follow-up on the NCs, CARs, PARs.
- As Environment & Industrial Hygiene Engineer, ensures compliance on (a) ISO 14001/18001/9001 implementation, (b) SEQS compliance, (c) Works for the protection of environment and conservation of natural resources, (d) Pollution prevention through Ammonia, Urea Dust Monitoring, Noise, Illumination, Effluent monitoring, Soil, Sub-soil and Potable water quality monitoring surveys, as per yearly plans.
- Train the employees on the standards their interpretation & implementation.
- Coordinate with different departments on the effluent management system and ensure that the surface impoundments have sufficient capacity to sustain the Plant operations.
- Investigate any complaint regarding the Occupational health, hygiene issues and get it promptly resolved.
- Inform about the status of compliance and issues to management.
- Prepare (if required) and get approved Sub HSE OHIH documents for any new chemical.
- Conduct the Sub HSE OHIH meeting and follow-up on the agreed items.
- Carry out the feasibility of Environmental footprint reduction projects.
- Budgeting & IP exercise for the Environment, Industrial hygiene & Quality.
