The ideal candidate should have:
- Done DAE Chemical/ FSC Pre-Engineering
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of Ammonia Plant Operation
- Understanding & Practical experience of the Plant equipment Operation through DCS & PLC Operation
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Operations
- Monitoring, controlling and optimization of the Ammonia Plant parameters, in liaison with field operators, to meet Ammonia Plant production targets
- Assist Shift Engineer in rotating shifts for safe Plant operation
- Start-up/shutdown of plant and equipment in line with approved operating procedures
Downtime Management
- Ensure safe, consistent and efficient operations of the Ammonia plant from DCS plant operating station and reduce downtime through timely highlighting problem & taking corrective actions.
- Act as 1st line emergency contact in case of Plant process upset, fire, Ammonia release or other dangerous abnormal situations to ensure plant equipment & personnel safety
- Monitor plant performance using trends, respond to alarms appropriately and make adjustments to optimize production throughput and safe plant operation
Safe Operations
- Follow the instructions for the operational systems, processes and policies to ensure safe operation of ammonia plant.
IMS, Internal and External Audit
- Follow IMS policies and procedures, operate assigned area equipment as per standards for internal and external audits, give input to revise IMS work procedures and work instructions as per requirement.
