U. S. Consulate General, Karachi is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Information Management Assistant. Attractive salary package and other benefits will be offered to the selected candidate.
POSITION REQUIREMENT:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing ongoing operation support for the State Department internal networks at U.S. Consulate General Karachi. Maintains and repairs computers systems, software applications, and network components. S/he will perform administration of both of the shelf and custom developed software, 500+ user accounts and devices, Microsoft servers, and network infrastructure. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for mobile and remote computing to include laptops and smartphones using custom application for accessing Department of State intranet.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Candidate should have university degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science or related Information Technology is required. Completion certificate in at least one of the following is also required: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security +, Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, CCNA, CCNP. S/he should have Minimum four (4) years of work experience in a related computer field. English language skills will be tested. The incumbent must have logical reasoning skills, non-verbal reasoning skills and must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. S/he should be detail-oriented and must possess a high level of interpersonal skills. S/he should be able to persuasively present solutions and recommendations before top management and must be able to diplomatically advise prospective users of system limitations, operational priorities, or other constraints to achieve project goals. Skills and abilities may be tested.
