We seek to hire a dynamic and career – oriented professional for the position of Managing Director, for a
credible company engaged in alloy and special steel manufacturing in Karachi. Applications are invited from

MANAGING DIRECTOR (MD)
Reporting to Chairman Board of Directors (BOD)
Job Profile
- Self – motivated professional with proven leadership and management skills; with ability to effectively
implement strategy, as directed by the BOD. - Fully conversant with local and international industry norms.
- Excellent networking skills and rapport with key industry stakeholders, in Pakistan and abroad.
- Leads the team with creativity and agility, with proactive approach for identification of challenges and
market emerging trends. - Possesses expertise in managing financials, governance, risks and fiscal discipline.
- Strong knowledge of the internal procedures and practices in Steel and Alloy Manufacturing
- Expertise in business development, managerial and socialization skills.
- Meets SECP – defined criteria.
- Responsible for all aspects of the business, including financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Set and drive the strategic vision of the business to achieve sustained, long term profitable growth, create an enabling environment, evaluate, and solve challenges encountered by the Company’s operations
Qualification
Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or related engineering disciplines, preferably, with additional
degree in Management Sciences.
Experience
- Candidate should possess post-qualification experience of at least 20 Years in related industry, with
minimum 05 years in steel industry, at a senior management position. - Experience in strategy formulation & implementation, Corporate Planning and Business Development.
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 55 Years. Relaxation of 1-2 years can be given, based on exceptional qualification,
experience and performance.
Emoluments
Based on qualification, experience, and suitability of the individual. This position is on 3 years renewable
contract, subject to mutual consent.
