Peoples Steel Mills Limited is the premier special and alloy steels manufacturing facility in Pakistan. The Company intends to introduce an Industrial Continuous Improvement Program (ICIP). Our aspiration is to drive operational excellence, through a process of sustainable improvement of the performance of our steel plants.
The Industrial Continuous Improvement Professional will report to the CEO and will lead cross-functional teams to define and execute ICIP to improve cost competitiveness, introduce best practices to reduce wastes, significantly and enhance the production
Desired Qualification, Skills and Experience
- Having Mechanical, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering Background.
- Proven experience of at least 15 Years in Industrial Operations Management excellence.
- Implementation experience of processes and cost improvement models (e.g. Lean, Kaizen, 6-Sigma, Value stream mapping, Fish-Bone analysis, Working capital optimization)
- Having strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills, with finance literacy.
- Ability to positively influence the teams in a matrix organization.
- 6-Sigma Black Belt will be preferred.
