Qualifications and Competencies:

• B.Tech / DAE in Electronics or Instrumentation.

• Strong Knowledge of PLCs, HMI & Server Machines.

• Knowledge of networking topologies and related hardware.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in installation and maintenance of SCADA systems, Computers, PLCs, RTUs, UPS, industrial instrumentation switches and routers.

Responsibilities:

• Install, check, test and repair a variety of SCADA equipment.

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance of all equipment according to daily/monthly program and follows Safety procedures.

• Specify, support, and troubleshoot field measurement and control hardware.

• Maintain the Backup of SCADA Systems for emergency use and respond to emergency calls.

• Maintain detailed record of As-Built drawings, PLC and RTU input/output details.

• Maintain 3rd party interface protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, TCP/IP.

• Submit monthly report on maintenance activities.

• Update the technical documentation once a new option in the application is added.

• Liaise with the SCADA and Station Control System users regarding new reports and queries.

• Any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
