Job Description
Qualifications and Competencies:
• F.Sc. or equivalent along with excellent knowledge of MW Tower Maintenance & Climbing Safety.
• Ability and fitness to work at heights.
• Repair & Maintenance of dish antenna system.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience
• Experience of Maintenance of Self and Guyed Support Towers and installation of various antenna mounts
• Experience of Repair & Maintenance of dish antenna system.
Responsibilities:
• Repair and troubleshooting of all mechanical problems related to telecom system and supervision of tower painting work.
• Repair and maintenance of antenna and transmission lines, changing of obstruction light bulbs and microwave building lights.
• Repair and maintenance of tower and building grounding system.
• Maintenance of block valve batteries, solar panels and MW battery banks.
• Assisting technician in microwave BV/CP sites maintenance work and also in the installation of VHF radios.
