Private Power and Infrastructure Board, a public sector organization based in Islamabad invites applications purely on contract basis from energetic, challenge loving and result oriented persons capable of handling multiple tasks for the following positions on merit basis.
PLANNING SPECIALIST (3-YEAR CONTRACT)
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Professional degree (16-years education) in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics /Mechanical/Energy) from HEC recognized & well reputed local/foreign educational institution along with minimum five (5) years of relevant experience. Additional qualification in Economics/Finance/Energy Management/IT or any other relevant discipline would be advantageous. The aspiring candidate should possess strong analytical and reporting skills. Applicants having professional experience in the following areas shall be preferred:
- Power planning/modelling, acquisition, load forecasting & demand/supply analysis
- Coordination with entities like distribution companies, generators, power purchaser, regulator etc.
ROLE:
- Consultation with SOLRS in capacity obligation estimations and preparation of power procurement program/plan as envisaged in CTBCM regime
- Liaison and co-ordinate with stakeholders and NEPRA for approval of procurement program/plan.
- Assistance in relevant IAA functions in the context of CTBCM
ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST (3-YEAR CONTRACT)
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Professional degree (16-years education) in or related to Environmental Science from an HEC recognized & well reputed local/foreign educational institution along with minimum five (5) years of experience. The applicants having experience in the following areas may be preferred:
- Professional experience on procurement processes and environmental aspects of project processing.
- Institutional interrelation skills.
ROLE:
Management and coordination on relevant environmental interventions.
MARKET TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (3-YEAR CONTRACT)
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Professional degree (16-years education) in or related to IT Systems from an HEC recognized & well reputed local/foreign educational institution along with minimum five (5) years of experience. The applicants having experience in the following areas may be preferred subject to other suitable requirements:
- Analytical, development and teamwork skills
- Professional experience on information management platforms.
ROLE:
- Administer and develop Online Tendering Platform
- Administer and develop Guarantees Registering and Monitoring Platform
Good communication & interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Word/Excel is required for all the above positions.
TERMS OF CONDITIONS:
i. Three-year contract will be offered to the candidates.
ii. Age limit for above positions is 40 years on date of advertisement.
