Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS,P) is looking for an experienced resource to lead the Quality Assurance Department and implement the processes to reflect the highest standards of quality. The incumbent will be responsible for Quality Management Policy implementation, promoting evidence-based best practices and ensuring the best quality of community/clinical programmes of AKHS,P. S/he will provide technical support for quality maintenance and supportive supervision to the regions and cross-functions to progress from the current Quality Assurance (QA) level to the Quality Improvement (QI) and then to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) levels. S/he will develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System in AKHS, P based upon the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM).

PREREQUISITES

  • MBBS / MPH or MBA (Preferably in Health & Hospital Management) and certifications in QA would be a plus.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience of Hospital Quality Assurance or in community healthcare/ clinical settings.
  • Leadership stature to strategise, to foster partnerships, and build trust among stakeholders.
