Job Description

PARCO is seeking applications for the following position for its 100% owned subsidiary PARCO Pearl Gas (Pvt) Ltd. PPGL is the largest LPG marketing company in Pakistan having countrywide presence.  The position is planned for Customer Engineering Department (CED) of company

Qualifications and Competencies:

 

The candidate should possess an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering. The candidate should have working knowledge of thermodynamic calculations, burners, gastrains, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, gas regulators, pipe fittings, pumps. Should be a team player and able to handle multiple projects in parallel. The candidate should be strong at engineering codes and following SOPs and have awareness about safety of hazardous area and have good customer handling skills. The candidate should have effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and have good command over English language. The candidate should ideally have a valid driving license.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas storage installations (preferably in LPG/gas industry) and aftersales in industrial customer facing roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of Customer sites for LPG load and safety aspects for LPG tanks installations
  • Completion of Bulk LPG installation Project within agreed time and budget
  • Contractor management and strong supervision for the quality of materials and services
  • Keeping record of the testing/integrity documents of the
  • Arrangement of First Fill on assigned time.
  • Complaint management of LPG installations and appliances
  • Installation and dismantling of sites
  • Commissioning & Decommissioning of sites
  • Professional handling of technical queries of Customers.
  • On time requalification and certification of tanks.
  • Repair & Maintenance of equipment on timely basis
  • Emergency response and complaint handling related to LPG sites when and where required
  • Inventory Management Reporting.
  • Handling of the South Region with Minimal supervision
  • The job involved extensive travelling within Karachi, Gaddani, Hyderabad and other regions
