Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for welfare of its employees under Managing Director (PWF). The Foundation is looking for an individual having dynamic personality with ability / capacity to improve its efficiency.
TENURE
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year (extendable subject to satisfactory performance). Maximum 03 years or upto the age of 64 years which ever is earlier.
QUALIFICATION
B.Sc Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) from HEC recognized university.
AGE/ELIGIBILITY
Maximum 62 years / Retired WAPDA / PEPCO / NTDC employees with good service record
EXPERIENCE
Post qualification experience of 03 years as Chief Engineer/General Manager in BP’S-20 or equivalent post.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Awareness about PPRA Rules.
- Result oriented. highly organized and motivated.
- Excellent analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prudent decision making.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Technical Director (PWF) will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the entire business activities at all distribution & power transformer workshops and will extend all possible efforts to improve/expand PWF business.
- Responsible for day to day business and set goals for growth of the business & their functions like Finance, HR, Procurement, Operation etc.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productivity and develop
- Responsible for improving maximum efficiency and increasing dept (PWF) profits
- Â Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skill
- Have problem, solving aptitude
- All sorts of technical as well as strategic efforts will be deployed to make PWF a profitable organization.
- Developing strategy/mechanism by having close liaison with WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs and NTDC counterparts/responsible officers for having more and more business for PWF.
