Job Purpose:
The Digital Transformation Manager will be responsible for reviewing the existing internal business systems/processes and provide support to architect and develop Industry 4.0 solutions responsible for digital transformation in areas of industrial analytics and operation. The individual will understand business challenges, design innovative technical solutions utilizing existing and potential technology partners and tools, and prepare and present the proposals for management approval.
Responsibilities:
- Good understanding of the technology domains relevant to Industrial control systems and digital transformation, in one or more industries.
- Experienced in solution architecture, design and implementation on Industrial Control Systems in a manufacturing setting
- Direct and Articulated Digital Roadmaps and uplift manufacturing technology standards, IT/OT Cyber Security Compliance, and Automation Best practices with Continuous Improvement initiatives
- As part of the Industry 4.0 Automation, will contribute to the digitalization of the site, playing a crucial role in digitalization rollouts in the Automation area.
- Review existing internal business processes and identify areas of improvement.
- A confident and impactful communicator, both written and verbal, able to clearly explain digital ideas to non-technical audiences, and business concepts and goals to technical audiences.
- An experienced delivery leader, able to help EFERT’s digital transformation programs with a successful track record of delivering on major projects.
- Keep up to date with digital trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Engro jobs is offered for Professional degree in Engineering/Software/ field with solution development or deployment experience in Industrial Automation, Control systems and Digitalization domain for at least 4+ years in any relevant Industry (Manufacturing/ Petrochem/ Fertilizer/ Oil & Energy/ Power/ Utilities)
- For growth in engro careers , Must have basic knowledge of Automation and Control systems and OT Systems such as MES/Historians/Reporting Tools/Alarm Management Systems etc
- Familiarization with the use of OT-IT Integration technologies using OPC/MQTT, REST APIs, Web Services
- Experience with the use of either Industrial Analysis or Historian Software such as (OSIsoft/Aspen InfoPlus/ FactoryTalk) will be a plus.
- Proven experience in shaping and leading technology-enabled, digital transformation initiatives.
- Well versed in artificial intelligence, big data, data analytics, robotics process automation, sensors, cloud computing, open-source, etc.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) to demonstrate clear interpretation and presentation of results to various stakeholders.
- Contributes to a culture of excellence in quality work and successful projects.
- Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.
