PARCO is seeking applications for the following position for its 100% owned subsidiary PARCO Pearl Gas (Pvt) Ltd. PPGL is the largest LPG marketing company in Pakistan having countrywide presence.  The position is planned for Supply Chain Department of the company

Job Details

Job Level: Experienced

Experience:8 – 12 years

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) / Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial). Mechanical engineering jobs.

Age Limit: 30 – 40 years

Qualifications and Competencies:

• The candidate should possess a degree in Mechanical/Industrial engineering preferably with an MBA.
• Hands on experience with latest software (such as SAP MM, etc.)
• Critical thinker and problem-solver
• Must be a Team player with excellent problem solving skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience preferably in Oil & Gas distribution sector.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, finance and Customer Service teams to effectively manage all the inbound and outbound logistical operations.
• Keep a close coordination with suppliers & company locations to avoid stock run outs.
• Determine key supply chain KPIs and monitor those to bring efficiency in the transport operations both in terms of costs and time.
• Develop and implement long-term / short-term product sourcing and distribution strategy to align with business expansion plans of the company.
• Ensure that all vehicles comply to the statutory requirements (incl. OGRA, Explosives, Excise, licencing/registration)
• Set up the effective Transport Safety Management program and ensure that Zero fatalities, Zero LTI’s are maintained.
• Maintain an efficient pool of transporters and third party contractors to timely meet any abrupt surges in the market demand and long term business requirements of the company.
• Negotiate and implement contracts for transport services, fleet maintenance, equipment and materials suppliers in an efficient manner.
