VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE POST OF
MANAGER (BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT)
Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, a leading E&P Company the country.
invites applications for position of Manager (Business Development). The candidate should have excellent communication skills and successful track record of delivering results.
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor of Engineering (04 years) registered with PEC or MBA or M.Sc/ BS (Geology) with in-depth
knowledge of business development, negotiations, commercial agreements, joint ventures, relationship management and a good knowledge of technical areas related to the energy industry with preference of international business development/ commercial experience.
EXPERIENCE:
14 years relevant post qualification experience in line with the Business Strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- To identify, pursue and evaluate new business development opportunities for OGDCL. These may
nclude E&P assets/ company acquisitions, exploration farm-ins/farm-outs as well as cross- segment opportunities within Pakistan as well as rest of the world. - To lead negotiations for farm-in/ farm-out with international E&P Companies.
- To review and evaluate international business opportunities in coordination with other departments
- Pursue efforts to have partnership with local multinational companies for joint collaboration in
area of oil and gas exploration. - To stay current on Pakistan’s energy market and key developments. Maintain liaison with outside
parties for data and market intelligence. - To develop and deliver management presentations.
Note:
The term of employment will be three (03) years. Open term contract may be offered upon successful
completion of the initial period.
