CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – PIACL
Pakistan International Airlines Company Limited (PIACL) invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer.
PIACL is determined to re-structure itself as a dynamic, modern and successful national airline of Pakistan. It seeks a professional, motivated and capable individual who will provide the ‘can do’ leadership necessary to bring PIACL back in the league of successful national flag carriers.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess, at least, a Graduate degree (16 years of education) from a well-reputed institute and recognized by the HEC, related to Science,Engineering, or Aviation Management and related
disciplines, OR - Be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants, OR
- Be a recognized businessman or professional with a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or
Public Administration OR equivalent from any institute recognized by the HEC
B. WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 20 years of working experience preferably in aviation sector, including aircraft operations/aircraft acquisition/ aircraft sales, induction & upgrade in reputable airline /aviation organization with minimum of 10 years’ experience a senior management position in relevant professional areas.
- Preference will be given to the candidate who has worked as CEO of an equally sized international airline or commercial organization.
- The proven track record of successful turnaround of a company of equal size will be given due
consideration. - Officers presently working in service of Pakistan may also apply through proper channel as per prescribed rules and regulations under the Esta. Code
C. AGE:
- Between 45 and 65 years on 31st January, 2023.
D. TENURE:
- The selected candidates will be given employment on contract basis for a period of three (3) years, which may be extended.
E. PAY PACKAGE:
- Successful candidate will be offered market-based salary and fringe benefits.
