Job Title: Senior Assistant Machinery Engineer-EPCL

Job Purpose:

Senior Assistant Machinery engineer is responsible for safe and reliable operation of all assigned machinery facilities and equipment at site. His role covers development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance plans, job planning and execution, timely incident reporting and submission of detail investigation reports, ensuring minimum downtime on plant equipment, planning for shutdown, and forecasting budget requirement. He works in coordination with the Engineers / SH / SICs to ensure smooth functioning of the manufacturing site and to achieve corporate as well as departmental objectives.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • To keep track of inspection and safety recommendations and their in-time closure.
  • Track of Equipment Health, MTBF and to perform 5 WHY of each failure.
  • Develop detailed package for major jobs that includes Budget, Spares requirement, Timeline, Repair plan, Safety plan etc.
  • Develop/Conduct Job Safety Analysis.
  • Conduct regular Job cycle checks to check adherence to maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk management audits i.e., work permit, housekeeping etc.
  • Participate in daily planning meetings with operations.
  • Independently manage SAP Plant Maintenance KPI’s i.e. PM/CM Ratio, Notification to work order conversion etc.
  • Inspection of area related Warehouse stock items on arrival
  • Read previous day Operations logbook and check any abnormality notified in it.
  • Read and signing off machinery logbook.
  • To Discuss and assign the jobs to machinery technician (Contractor) based on PM plan / CM Job requests / actual plant condition.
  • To supervise machinery jobs in field and make machinery maintenance reports.
  • Update the previous day machinery maintenance history on their respective files.
  • To check maintenance related management safety audit point and rectify them.
  • Update Maintenance History in SAP and complete PM WOs up on job completion.
  • Develop MIV, MRW, PR, SR and job orders as per requirement.
  • CSI-2140 familiarization. Data collection, dumping of data in software and perform preliminary analysis.
  • Develop long term reliability plans for the equipment.

Experience requirements:

D.A.E (Mechanical) with 12+ years of relevant experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Fertilizer
