16 years of qualification or higher in GIS/Space Science/Geo-informatics/RS&GIS/Geography or related discipline from HEC recognized institution
OR
14 years of qualification or higher in any discipline GIS survey experience with UU
Experience
Jobs Description
Data collection, storing, retrieving, evaluating, and manipulation of data
Field data collection and integration with GIS data
Carry on the survey as per data provided and amend if required as per ground reality under the supervision of the GIS Supervisor and District Manager.
Record the results of surveys, including the shape and location
Re-verify the data from the field if required.
Send progress report of the survey on daily basis.
Keep the Supervisor and the Urban Unit Staff updated on the issues/progress of the survey.
Take photographs of each surveyed unit as per specified guidelines of the photograph with Android Mobiles.
Fill in Attribute data in the land use application correctly.
Mark paper sheets for any changes and splitting of parcels.
Make entry of change or split parcels on the Android application appropriately.
Preparation of Maps from GIS data
Designing maps that describe and interpret findings for the assigned projects
Remote sensing based analysis (Image acquisition, Image processing, Image analysis, classification)
Integration of non-spatial data with spatial data
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Any other tasks assigned by the team lead.
