EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The U.S. Consul General in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for a contract staff position of Bearer (House Staff). Attractive salary package and other benefits will be offered to selected candidate.
Position Requirement
The incumbent will be assisting in following tasks
1. Meet and greet guests at events and functions. Serve food and beverages
2. Set-up for functions and events, which may include setting up tables and moving furniture, among other duties.
3. Support chef in kitchen during large events.
4. Clean up after events, including washing dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, silverware and anything else necessary.
5. Clean all areas of the residence. Launder and iron clothing and bedding, as needed.
6. Observe and report any needed repairs to the Residence Manager.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirement:
Candidate should have completed eight years of education with a minimum two years of experience in hospitality service, housekeeping, house staff, or restaurant work, Incumbent must be able to speak and understand basic English Language.
