Description

  • Maintain day-to-day financial control of the service within budget heads.
  • Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored.
  • Support the HOD Finance in the provision of information for the Estimates.
  • Advise on the proper allocation of resources.
  • Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place And in use at all times.
  • Prepare and review detailed budgets for projects/programs/departments for approval by the C.E in coordination with HOD Finance.
  • Make regular reports to the HOD Finance.
  • Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, grant aid, contracts, and any other Initiatives.
  • Ensure professionalism while performing routine tasks.
  • Support and monitor Financial activities at the District level.
  • Ensure, delegating as appropriate, that each service location is Adequately managed, staffed, and resourced.
  • Work in accordance with HANDS rules and regulations, and ensure completion of assigned work within the specified timeline.
  • Identify and implement plans for own training and development needs as well as for staff.
  • Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports of respective assignments to HOD Finance.

Description

  • Plans and implements all phases of evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and reporting in coordination with the respective project head.
  • Prepares and implements contracts for evaluation, research, and assessment projects in coordination with the GM M, E&R.
  • Writes proposals and applications for evaluation, research, and assessment projects, including the development of project design, timelines, staffing, and budgets.
  • Develops and presents assessment and accountability data as required, and Assists data in understanding and using it for program/project improvement;
  • Plans to convene and facilitate meetings with the project team and other officials as required.
  • Provides guidance and support to District Office, staff.
  • Preparing and presenting the monthly/quarterly /annual reports.
  • Recommend and implement ways of improving the collection of information and the results.
  • Check on the quality and integrity of the data used and advise on improvements if necessary
  • Effective liaison with the project/program team on evaluation methodology and compliance with all organizational requirements
  • Systems are used regularly and consistently to support the planning and monitoring of work.
  • Provision of data to meet project and specified deadlines.
  • Consistency in data collection approach across all projects/programs.
  • To have supervisory visits to DOs and project/program sites if required.

PROJECT MANAGER

Description

  • Inputs in designing and implementing the HANDS Health Promotion Strategic plan.
  • Provide technical support and optimal environment to field/ district staff.
  • Support in designing and implementing Health Promotion education and training sessions for Health staff.
  • Collect weekly/monthly/quarterly reports from the District offices and HANDS Health facility centers.
  • Regular reporting to the General Manager about project/program updates.
  • Plan and coordinate health promotion programs for community groups.
  • Inform and involve other health professionals in community health issues.
  • Discuss and make recommendations on issues that affect the health and wellbeing of the community.
  • Ensure to achieve project/program deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of data collected through health promotion activities.
  • Evaluate and provide performance feedback to field staff to ensure motivation and or increase performance levels.
  • Conduct monitoring/supervisory visits to project/program intervention areas and provide guidance to field/district office in accomplishing assigned tasks effectively and efficiently if required so.
  • Inputs in searching for grants to support and fund health promotion programs and activities; completes grant applications, administers grant programs, and prepares reports according to specific grant requirements.
  • Conduct research to cope with project/program outlines and assess respective community needs for health facilities.
  • Prepares statistical and analytical reports of program activities, services, and events; gathers and compiles data for reports.
  • Look after the needs of the concerned field/district staff and help them to resolve their problems, which they face in routine or specific activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the senior staff for the best concern of the organization
