VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
COMMISSIONER
SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN
Finance Division requires services of dynamic and high caliber professionals for one (01) position of Commissioner in the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The prescribed qualifications, experience, age limit and other terms of appointment are as under:-
CRITERIA
1. At least a Master’s degree in relevant field i.e. Securities Market, Law, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Insurance and Industry and minimum 20 years of experience, eminence and expertise in the field.
2. Competent professional should be of known integrity. Prior experience of handling regulatory work will be an added advantage.
3. Maximum age limit for the position: 62 years at the time of appointment.
EMOLUMENTS
An attractive compensation package as per policy will be paid.
(In case of selection, the candidates working in Government Departments, Semi-Government Departments, International Financial Institutions, Multilateral Organizations, Inter-Governmental Organizations, Non- Governmental Organizations, Autonomous or Semi-Autonomous Bodies and private sector etc will have to resign or seek retirement before joining the new assignment. Acceptance of resignation from previous job will be mandatory for charge assumption in case of selection).
TENURE
The selected candidates shall be appointed for a term of three (03) years.
