MANAGER CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Qualification & Experience
Master’s degree in integrated marketing communications/ digital media & communications/ business administration and mass communication with at least 16 years of relevant experience

Job Responsibility

This position will report to General Manager Shared Services and be responsible for implementing an effective Corporate Communications Strategy for fulfilling outreach requirements to project a positive image of PPL among stakeholders, including media, using available communication tools. The job holder will also be responsible to plan, coordinate and execute company’s community development programmes in areas of its operations and interest to fulfil its social development responsibilities

SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER / SECURITY OFFICER

Qualification & Experience
Retired Lt. Col/ Major or equivalent rank of armed forces with minimum 15 years of experience (for Senior Security Officer). Retired Major / Captain or equivalent rank of armed forces with minimum 12 years of experience (for Security Officer). The candidate should possess at least a graduate degree.

Job Responsibility
The position is responsible for implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures as well as protecting company’s assets, personnel and facilities. The job holder will plan and arrange field security services and negotiate with area locals and government departments to tackle day-to-day security issues.

Required SENIOR DRILLING Engineer in PPL

Job Profile/ Specifications:

•    Able to prepare exploratory, development, workover and re-entry wells’ drilling programme, considering safe and effective designs that ensure well integrity over the well life by following the process of well planning
•    Possess experience of planning and execution of drilling slanted, horizontal and HPHT wells in a safe and efficient manner
•    Have experience of performing complete well planning on EDM Landmark Drilling Suite
•    Able to monitor daily progress of well operations and provide engineering/ logistics support to rig site for all operations along with advising trouble shooting/  engineering solutions to relevant teams
•    Capable of providing support to drilling and completion engineering team and maintain effective interface with other stakeholders to achieve departmental and strategic goals
•    Able to liaise with rig contractors and service providers to maintain and organize all required resources on time
•    Capable of organizing contractors’ KPI workshops for performance monitoring and identification of loopholes

DEPUTY CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (TAX SPECIALIST)

•    Able to act as a focal person and provide support for all types of tax matters, including income tax, sales tax, excise duty and withholding tax
•    Capable of ensuring local and international tax compliance of PPL and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to preparation and filing of annual tax return and quarterly advance tax payments
•    Able to review and update tax strategy of the company dynamically to keep it agile and flexible taking into consideration the changing economic trends

Job Responsibilities:

The position will provide support in managing accounting and tax affairs of PPL and its subsidiaries while ensuring local and international tax compliance. The position also requires preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring that the company is in compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

•    Capable of guiding/ mentoring the mineral exploration directorate while maintaining strategic oversight by developing and directing mineral exploration strategy in line with the company’s vision

Preference would be given to candidates with recent working experience in mineral exploration and mining industry.

Job Responsibilities:

The position will report to General Manager Exploration and is responsible for overseeing the exploration, extraction, and processing of minerals and assessing Minerals deposits in Pakistan.  Furthermore, the position will be responsible for coordinating technical, commercial and legal due diligence of mineral projects and developing project(s) portfolio aligned with company´s exploration strategy.

SENIOR MANAGER I HEAD OF DRILLING AND COMPLETION

Job Profile/ Specifications:

•    Have hands-on-working as well as management level experience in planning and execution of drilling, workover and completion operations in onshore/ offshore environment, including HPHT oil and gas wells
•    Posses advanced level of knowledge in well control, managed pressure drilling, smart completions, extended reach and multilateral well design and rigs selection
•    Able to prepare and manage drilling, workover and completion programmes, well cost estimates, ITBs, well intervention procedures, including well testing and stimulations.
•    Capable of managing multistring rig operations and undertake technical audits of rigs earmarked for operations
•    Possess expertise in API, lADC and other industry relevant drilling & safety standards with previous experience in developing drilling management systems, standard practices and policies.
•    Capable of managing well casing and completion designs, wellhead surface facilities, surface and subsurface safety systems, flowlines and metering arrangements and material selection for desired services as per industry best practices and engineering standards
•    Able to manage procurement of material and services, including drilling rigs, mud chemical and services, DST, SWT, TCP, cased hole wireline logging, slickline, jet pump, coiled tubing, thru tubing, service engineers, TRS, hydraulic fracturing. Understanding and awareness of PPRA rules and exposure to tender processing would be an added advantage.
•    Able to supervise troubleshooting of downhole problems in wells, carry out analysis and suggest corrective action(s)
•    Capable of demonstrating good working knowledge on production optimization techniques such as artificial lift deployment, well stimulation techniques, hydraulic fracturing and designing, planning and execution of such jobs
•    Aware of the latest application of new technologies and techniques related to drilling and production engineering activities for improving operational efficiencies
•    Able to manage PPL-owned fleet rigs and enhance its operational capabilities while following industry-recognized safety and technical standards
•    Capable of liaisoning with multiple stakeholders to manage resources and deliver wells with reliable integrity to meet company’s business plan
•    Well-versed with QMS and HSE regulations to ensure compliance

Required Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in petroleum/ mechanical engineering from a reputable local or foreign institution/ university recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, with at least 20 years of experience in drilling and completion operations, including minimum 5 years in a managerial position leading team(s) of drilling and completion engineering professionals, in a reputable E&P company and/or a service company.

Job Responsibilities:

The position will report to General Manager Development and is responsible for planning and execution of drilling operations and workover activities. The position is also responsible for well completions, testing, intervention, stimulation, and design of wellhead surface facilities for all PPL discoveries.
