Qualification:  Master’s in social sciences or equivalent
Experience:  2-3 years of work experience as a Data Management Officer
Skills required:  Interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, Aptitude for financial reporting,   Knowledge of IT software, and analytical skills.

Description

  • Plans and implements all phases of evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and reporting in coordination with the respective project head.
  • Prepares and implements contracts for evaluation, research, and assessment projects in coordination with the GM M, E&R.
  • Writes proposals and applications for evaluation, research, and assessment projects, including the development of project design, timelines, staffing, and budgets.
  • Develops and presents assessment and accountability data as required, and Assists data in understanding and using it for program/project improvement;
  • Plans to convene and facilitate meetings with the project team and other officials as required.
  • Provides guidance and support to District Office, staff.
  • Preparing and presenting the monthly/quarterly /annual reports.
  • Recommend and implement ways of improving the collection of information and the results.
  • Check on the quality and integrity of the data used and advise on improvements if necessary
  • Effective liaison with the project/program team on evaluation methodology and compliance with all organizational requirements
  • Systems are used regularly and consistently to support the planning and monitoring of work.
  • Provision of data to meet project and specified deadlines.
  • Consistency in data collection approach across all projects/programs.
  • To have supervisory visits to DOs and project/program sites if required.
  • Promote HAND’s vision and mission and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of respective assignments to HOD M, E&R.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor for the best of the organization.
