RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

QUALIFICATION

At least 16 Years education with a degree from well recognized HEC leading institutions/ top tier universities preferably in Economics, or Accounting & Finance, and also members of professional Accounting bodies such as ICMAP, ICAP, ACCA, etc.

PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data gathering and analysis of various industrial sectors for research to be applied in policy making.

JOB SKILLS 

  • The incumbent shall have analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional written, spoken and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, latest tools in data collection and analysis, hands-on skills to manage database resources for information management.
  • Relevant experience in research/ programme design and/or evaluation, including the design and execution of surveys.

Age limit

28 years.

DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Qualification:  Master’s in social sciences or equivalent
Experience:  2-3 years of work experience as a Data Management Officer
Skills required:  Interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, Aptitude for financial reporting,   Knowledge of IT software, and analytical skills.

Description

  • Plans and implements all phases of evaluation and research studies, including study design, sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and reporting in coordination with the respective project head.
  • Prepares and implements contracts for evaluation, research, and assessment projects in coordination with the GM M, E&R.
  • Writes proposals and applications for evaluation, research, and assessment projects, including the development of project design, timelines, staffing, and budgets.
  • Develops and presents assessment and accountability data as required, and Assists data in understanding and using it for program/project improvement;
  • Plans to convene and facilitate meetings with the project team and other officials as required.
  • Provides guidance and support to District Office, staff.
  • Preparing and presenting the monthly/quarterly /annual reports.
  • Recommend and implement ways of improving the collection of information and the results.
  • Check on the quality and integrity of the data used and advise on improvements if necessary
  • Effective liaison with the project/program team on evaluation methodology and compliance with all organizational requirements
  • Systems are used regularly and consistently to support the planning and monitoring of work.
  • Provision of data to meet project and specified deadlines.
  • Consistency in data collection approach across all projects/programs.
  • To have supervisory visits to DOs and project/program sites if required.
  • Promote HAND’s vision and mission and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of respective assignments to HOD M, E&R.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor for the best of the organization.
