Senior Instrument Engineer – EPCL

Job Purpose:

Senior Instrument Engineer will be responsible for Instrumentation and Control System evaluations and feasibility studies of new projects with the business development team.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Formulating Instrumentation and Control Systems scope for Project Evaluations and do CAPEX calculations and Front-End Engineering of the project.
  • Carry out correspondence with vendors for technical proposals of instrumentation, control valves, control systems, package units, their technical and financial evaluation, ensuring application of site applicable standards, engineering and process specifications and quality aspects.
  • Information of compatibility of Instrumentation with application and service.
  • Understanding of hazardous area classification and IP rating of Instrumentation and control panels.
  • To maintain drawings / documents & help ensure that they are updated. Ensure availability of these documents at respective area of work.
  • Design or modify documentation, drawings and logics to improve and ensure engineering specifications and standards.
  • Facilitating and interpreting technical safety studies including QRA, FERA, EERA, Facility Siting, Bow-Ties, HAZOPs, LOPA, FMEA and SIL assessments.
  • Ensure coverage of Instrumentation Scope of projects and compliance to process requirements and engineering standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, other operators and plant personnel.
  • Must be able to understand and execute complex written and oral instructions and relay instructions to other employees.
  • Demonstrate initiatives and be able to work with little supervision.

Experience requirements:

Instrument and Controls Engineer with 5-8 years of relevant experience in I&C of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemicals, or fertilizer plant.

Job Purpose:

Process Engineer works as an audit and  support function to manufacturing division for safe and efficient production, he is also responsible for carrying out required modifications, corresponding with Licensors & vendors, formulating stewardship reports reviewing the financial and operating performance of the company’s manufacturing division.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Hands on experience in Contact Process Engineering, technical audits of operations
  • Able to identify operational, efficiency and reliability gaps and generate recommendations to improve
  • Experienced in monitoring and generating recommendations to optimize Plant Operating Indices
  • Identify safety, efficiency and reliability CAPEX projects, develop business cases and lead through
  • Detail oriented mind with focus on safety and compliance to codes and standards in developing modifications
  • Sound in engineering software Aspen Hysys, Aspen EDR, KORF, KG Tower and PIPEFLOW
  • Strong inclination towards open communication & willingness to identify concern areas to manager
  • Ability to prepare and manage important data for relevant stakeholders and department
  • Absolute understanding & practice of ethical business & professional conduct

Experience requirements:

Chemical Engineer with 2-4 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering of Oil & gas, refinery, petrochemicals, or fertilizer plant
