Master’s in Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) or any other relevant field of study, from an HEC recognized University / institute.

Preference will be given to Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certified or Scrum certified candidates.

45 Years Minimum 6 x Years of working experience on large-scale projects in public / government sector or for large-scale multinational organization(s).
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

·         Coordinate all project activities including project tasks, schedules and any other aspect of the project

·         Coordinate project meetings and prepare meeting agendas, schedules and minutes of meetings

·         Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track

·         Support in preparation of Project Proposal, MoU, Business Requirement Document (BRD), Project Plan and Contract Management till sign off. Also support teams in preparing training manuals, SOPs, presentations, progress reports, projects execution and closure reports

·         Coordination with stakeholders to ensure development of necessary software, hiring of HR, procurement of equipment, hardware, fixture and furniture along with deployment activities

·         Assist Project Manager in preparing budget estimates, BOQs and related financials

·         Carry out formal correspondence with all stakeholders

·         Coordinate closely with regional teams for smoothly carrying out project activities

·         Maintaining complete documentation of projects

·         Formal Reporting to management for the overall project performance.

·         Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including MS. Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel)

·         Strong hands-on experience working in PM tools including Microsoft Project, Primavera or any other industry standard tools

·         Experienced in creating business presentations for management on stringent deadlines

·         Experienced in drafting letters, minutes of meetings, internal office coordination, professional e-mails, documentation reviews and preparing reports for management.

Institute of Business Administration Karachi (Assistant Project Manager)

Position: Assistant Project Manager – CEJ

A dynamic, organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager who will be able to ensure the smooth operational management of CEJ projects and trainings under the guidance of the director

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Reporting to Director CEJ 
•	Assist Director in management of CEJ trainings and events 
•	Execute trainings and other events at CEJ with the support of CEJ team 
•	Supervise work of CEJ staff 
•	Oversee communication with participants, logistics and technical preparations for trainings 
•	Oversee CEJ’s social media platforms 
•	Design, tailor update course modules and agendas for trainings and other events, in collaboration with trainers and guest speakers 
•	Coordinate with partner organisations and their representatives during training/event 
•	Oversee evaluation and completion reports for all trainings and events 
•	Coordinate with various IBA departments to ensure smooth running of CEJ 
•	Create and manage CEJ budget under the guidance of the Director 
•	Oversee Business Development team of the Centre 
•	Manage budgets for each project

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The incumbent shall have a at least a Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally master’s in media studies/mass communication or project management with minimum 3 years of experience in a management position in the media industry and/or development sector 
	
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
Communication: Strong command of written and spoken English and Urdu to write and edit project documents, public-facing communications and communicate vital information across the team
Operational management: Monitoring the progress of multiple projects
Knowledge: Understanding of the media landscape and current affairs
People: Supervising and communicating effectively with executives and associates
